California Supreme Court to Take Up Gay Marriage Ban (again)
This just goes to show how convoluted politics, government, and societal belief and knowledge really are.

In a Constitutional Republic, Proposition 8 doesn’t have a leg to stand on; there are many legal, religious, political and philosophical reasons for this, but it simply cannot be.
In a Socialist Democracy, Proposition is not only legitimate, but wholly necessary to establish, define, and give parameters to society’s building block and greatest institution: marriage.
Problems is, those who purport Socialist Democracy want to have the safeguard of a Republic to bounce back from this supposed loss of the homosexual community. It’s a political game of wanting to have your cake (Socialist Democracies) and eat it to (having the protection of a Republic).
