Beck is a stumbling block for those who call themselves “patriots”; he’s not a whistle-blower.

When the Justices stated that gay folks were given the same exact rights with domestic partnership’s as with married couples, why would they overturn the will of the majority of voters just over the definition of a word? To destroy the 1st Amendment would have been the reason, opening up the courts to then proceed to "make law respecting the establishment of religion or the free exercise thereof" which the 1st Amendment prohibits Congress from doing.
This bought us time. Beautiful California will be held back from severe judgments that I believe will begin to fall upon mankind, even those predicted by "ancient and modern prophets" if we fail to uphold the Family, permitting it’s continued destruction. To those who think this is not a "fair minded decision" they must admit that religious people were not out working against legal language against "domestic partnership’s." But legal defense was a necessity for the word "marriage" as defined by government in order to keep the tyranny of the state from oppressing religion and opening religious people and churches to full board persecution by the State as occurred to the Mormon’s in the 19th Century with murder of leadership, extermination orders, steeling, looting, robbing of property, vile raping, murdering mobs with government endorsement and connections. May such days never be seen again in America. (Though Waco Texas in 1993 was another such vile show of government sponsored murder upon the innocent.)
If this is devoid of crass “potty” talk, it will make a killing at the box office. Of note, I use an article from Gary North to help voice a common sentiment I believe shared by vast throngs of people throughout the nation.
John Lassiter seems to be a guy, for some reason, in control enough of film content to have not included in past Pixar films, vulgar or even shady innuendo nor potty humor.
Hollywood pretends to excuse the trash it dishes out and its never ending morally vile content claiming “we give the movie going public what they want,” but that is a lie, and they know it is a lie. Until the mid ’90’s, with Titanic, the all-time top 50 grossing films, adjusted for inflation, were all considered “family friendly,” or PG. Hollywood, as one BYU professor points out in his “Hollywood vs. America” lectures at BYU Education Week, have an agenda to “influence culture” and in so doing, produce content that vast numbers of American’s object to and don’t embrace fully, with the number of movie goers over the decades having declined significantly—staggeringly in real numbers. (Sure television and home entertainment competition aside, movie viewing is not as it once was in terms of overall segments of the population and percentages are staggeringly smaller than 60 years ago in terms of people entering theaters to find a culturally enriching experience.)
Many of us train ourselves to “ignore”some of the questionable words, inuendo and content so as to be able to find the rest of the movie as hopefully something of value. And within us, we don’t like that compromise, we don’t like that mixing of the needless crass content with what sometimes otherwise might engage our enthusiasm for what otherwise is an engaging film. We resent this “compromise” We are ready and willing to reward most enthusiastically any movie producer that does not even tempt us with a sense of “selling out” to view their creative production. We rejoice to sit down and view a presentation that is truly devoid of bad content, even one single, subtle ‘potty joke’ geared to the mentality of a 13 year old boy—to his sense of what is “funny.”
There is a vast segment of the population, including myself, which by choice determines to be very, very selective on what movies to go see, wanting to protest against the obvious sleeze hurled our direction when it has no merit for the story or character development, but we discern has been added only as an attempt to continue a moral downward spiral of the culture. How thrilling it is to not have to make that compromise with oneself. My own father has not been inside a movie theater in many decades, which is too bad in a few cases, where he has missed some things that might have been fun for him to see. Perhaps he’s been “burned” a few times with recommendations of what otherwise to him seemed like filth or a compromise of good content? When there is a good story line, something new, and even spectacularly visual, catering to kids and adults, then get ready, the money reward will be achieved, and it is well deserved. If Hollywood wanted money, they know how to get it, but influencing the culture takes top priority over box office success.
This new movie “Up” is looking to deliver in spectacular ways, without even a hint of the “potty humor” referenced in Gary North’s commentary shared in an article he authored back in 2003.

Then, Gary encourages Hollywood and the great talents to a higher standard, perhaps some day they’ll listen?:
It is not that great talents can’t do it today. Myers, Murphy, and Williams can do it. De Niro, Pacino, and Duvall can do it. Has anyone been as good in both comedy and drama as Sally Fields? Their versatility in front of a camera is enormous – far greater than the big-money stars of the golden age of movies. (I count Paul Newman, a man originally of the ‘fifties, as a “modern,” not an “ancient” – and his wife the same.)
Here is the problem: the scripts are rotten. I don’t mean devoid of creativity. I mean rotten. This inherent moral rottenness mirrors a morally corrupt industry. With the deaths of the old moguls, one by one, men who were not ready to offend the viewers’ sense of moral propriety, the post-1960 era of producers, directors, and script writers have been all too ready to offend.
Hollywood went on the offensive against civility in the 1960’s. This is what has undermined the movies. There is a scene in Neil Simon’s movie, “Butterflies Are Free,” where one of my all-time favorite actresses, Eileen Heckert, plays the author of children’s novels. She gets into an argument with her blind son. They have just returned from a play that featured a lot of violence. He says, “Those things are all part of life.” Heckert replies, “So is diarrhea, but I don’t classify it as entertainment.”
Hollywood forgot.
Years ago, I read an insightful one-liner by one of the Epperson sisters, either Ann Landers or Abigail Van Buren. I think it was Ann Landers. She commented on a particular actress’s wardrobe at a gala event. “It showed everything except good taste.” That could serve as an epitaph for the last three decades of movies.
But not for Pixar.
If “Up” is clean of propaganda and a dumbing down agenda of the culture, devoid of “scatology,” then I think no question it will prove a block buster, breaking all records before it. What else is out there now to compete with it in current summer releases in 2009? Only Hollywood trash. Other studio’s, such as Dreamworks, that produced “Shrek,” did not have the internal goodness to give us a clean film. I for one will not ever own the film unless it is edited and devoid of “scatology.” Shrek by compromising itself, destroyed what might have been a “timeless” classic with needless “potty humor.” Such films I don’t intend to pay money to see, and so I have not supported them at the box office with my dollars.

Californian’s this past week, on Tuesday May 19, 2009, went to the polls and overwhelmingly voted down tax increases. This Youtube clip reports that because of that stance, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger will now eliminate drastically many major programs, and all welfare, according to the LA Times and the Youtube Clip below.
No, no, no. That would never happen. Nice try. We can wish. We can dream. We can fantasize. It would be the greatest blessing to this nation that has come in 150 years were this to be the case, and thus government would get out of all of its unconstitutional meddling. Don’t count on this. No way.
If the California governor wants to go down in American History as one of the greatest men ever, one who would almost even begin to merit his face carved on Mount Rushmore, then he would eliminate all State welfare. It won’t happen. Oh, how it would bless American’s in the long run to have their government go bankrupt and where they would once again come to rely upon themselves rather than a wicked government for their support. But don’t count on this. It’s a pipe dream. There will be major Federal Bailouts of States before Government cuts welfare, and thus the current cycle will continue to spiral us down into total destruction.
If, however, American’s wanted to bounce back with huge prosperity and freedom, they would demand their government shrink, cut it’s spending and tax collecting and get out of their way. If American’s are left with a ruined economy, but free and with little government (or unconstitutional government), then within a few years America could be back on the road to once again become the economic model of the world, and the envy thereof.
So for us, we say Be a Patriot Governor, and yes, Cut budgets, programs, welfare and taxes. If you do, you’ll be on the right side of the US Founders. But we fear you’ll line up with the D.C. and Sacramento Establishment Elitist liars and scoundrels with the enemies of freedom, Marx and Engels, whose philosophy seems hell bent to destroy this nation and sink it into economic oblivion.

Just take a look at that lineup of Congress persons now beginning to line up behind Congressman Ron Paul’s bill to audit the Privately held Money Trust, or "Moneyed Monster" as it has been called numerous times in the Congressional Record by courageous congressmen.

Some are gaining serious concern for the life of Dr. Ron Paul. I will pray, and I know thousands others have prayed for him fervently in the past, when in the Presidential Campaign there were legitimate and worrisome threats to him and his life.
Ezra Taft Benson in 1986 said that in this coming showdown to save the nation and the Constitution, "it may cost us blood before we are through." However, it is delightful to see this beginning, some momentum building in support of this Constitutionalist in congress who before his Presidential campaign was marginalized and never given the time of day by his colleagues who all would sell out. With his wildly strong support base, other congress people would begin to ask him how he would keep getting elected, and how he would raise so much money. His answer was always one of great enlightenment for his fellow colleague sell-outs. Support and uphold the Constitution!

That is akin to someone opposing the War in Iraq being accused of "not supporting the troops." What? Do the troops not support the troops? US Soldiers donated more money in the 2008 presidential election to the anti-War Congressman Ron Paul than to the other Democrats and Republicans combined—all warmongers. Ron Paul of course, was one of the only on the stage (accept McCain) who actually served in Vietnam.
Such stupidity, geared to be the fodder of stupid simpletons who love and embrace a lie, who love to be conned by wolves in sheep’s clothing, who parade around, pretending to be "bible reading" Christians, but who otherwise are Lucifarian’s, such as George W. Bush, a fake, a fraud, a phony, and a super-socialist.
And, for the record, Mr. Graham, Ron Paul supported Ronald Reagan long before dirt bags like you pretended to get on board with him. Ron Paul backed Ronald Reagan in 1976 when the rest of you "main stream" sell out stooges backed sick dog traitor republicans, such as Gerald Ford and George Herbert Walker Bush, (the son of a Nazi financier and US Traitor, Senator Prescott Bush, whose assets were actually siezed for a time durring WWII for his bankrolling of the 3rd Reich.) In 1976, Ron Paul was one of the true guys backing a guy who was really about reform, and who had an assassination attempt upon him to have him "tow the line."

Senator Graham claimed his view as being that of a Ronald Reagan Republican, but Reagan’s own words in a 1975 Reason interview remove any endorsement of the Senator’s statement.

Reagan said: “I have been doing my best to try to revitalize the Republican Party groups that I’ve spoken to, on the basis that the time has come to repudiate those in our midst who would blur the Republican image by saying we should be all things to all people in order to triumph… I’ve been urging Republicans to raise a banner and put the things we stand for on that banner and don’t compromise, but don’t try to enlarge the party by being all things to everyone when you can’t keep all the promises. Put up a banner and then count on the fact that if you’ve got the proper things on that banner the people will rally round.”
South Carolina’s junior Senator, Jim DeMint, spoke after Graham and echoed Reagan commenting about the Senate that he, “[w]ould rather have 30 Republicans who believe in the principles of limited government and free markets and free people than 60 Republicans who have no beliefs at all.”
Brilliant piece, right on the money.
And Dwight Eisenhower’s Secretary of Agriculture, a severe anti-Socialist, and anti-Communist, told of this as it had been boasted to him by Nikita Khruschev.

Yes, America is “falling like overripe fruit” into their hands? And who is they? The bankers who bankrolled the Bolsheviks and endless other communist regimes to power through the last century. American capitalism gone with a whimper

It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people.
True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists.
Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters.
First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics. Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas then the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their “right” to choke down a McDonalds burger or a BurgerKing burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our “democracy”. Pride blind the foolish.
Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different “branches and denominations” were for the most part little more then Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more then happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the “winning” side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another. Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the “winning” side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power. Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in America.
The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America’s short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.
These past two weeks have been the most breath taking of all. First came the announcement of a planned redesign of the American Byzantine tax system, by the very thieves who used it to bankroll their thefts, loses and swindles of hundreds of billions of dollars. These make our Russian oligarchs look little more then ordinary street thugs, in comparison. Yes, the Americans have beat our own thieves in the shear volumes. Should we congratulate them?

Who says there are not prophets in Israel? Amazing are the subtle and powerful things taught to use by living prophets if we will listen attentively to what they say, then ponder, study, meditate on those words.
Elder Bednar states at the outset:
"The message I want to share with you today has over time distilled upon my soul “as the dews from heaven” (D&C 121:45)."
Also of note:
Our physical bodies make possible a breadth, a depth, and an intensity of experience that simply could not be obtained in our premortal estate. President Boyd K. Packer has taught, “Our spirit and our body are combined in such a way that our body becomes an instrument of our mind and the foundation of our character.”2 Thus, our relationships with other people, our capacity to recognize and act in accordance with truth, and our ability to obey the principles and ordinances of the gospel of Jesus Christ are amplified through our physical bodies. And our bodies, and how we keep them pure, undefiled, is critical in all this, and this is the most vicious move Satan makes upon us now, as many defile themselves in sin, sexual immorality, drug use, and being conned to pierce and tattoo their bodies, for which Satan laughs and is most delighted.
A talk well worth grasping. And do we see and have hope of our own resurrection? Can we see and hold an eye of faith to a perfected, exalted body of our own, brought back into the presence of an Eternal Father that we once knew intimately, and who once again we shall remember again that relationship? Ezra Taft Benson so stated such a thing will come to pass.

We once knew well our Elder Brother and His and our Father in Heaven. We rejoiced at the prospects of earth life that could make it possible for us to have a fullness of joy. You can look and research but a short time to find Monsanto to be run by Lucifer himself—by proxy of his "earthly emissaries." When we are warned in terms of health about the consequence and designs of "evil and conspiring men in these last days," we should consider quite soberingly some significant issues hardly ever considered by most, be it the food they eat and the damned mercury infested, toxic vaccines they permit to be injected into their children. Indeed, "evil and conspiring men" in these last days are doing much to increase disease on many fronts and dumb down and drug the population, be it forced flouridation of water, chemicals in food, toxins in vaccines, and on the extreme scale planned and lab grown viruses that the globalists are preparing to unleash in another act of terror of which some of these CFR elite have boasted on C-SPAN.
I’m told that Brigham Young spoke of fresh range grown animals, and did not feel stall fed livestock to be a good thing (obviously an exception in winter.) The big Agra farms now are outputing dangerous food, animals with short lives that are butchered after being injected with growth hormones and confined to small cages for their entire existence. Such is not the design of the creator for such animals. God does not prohibit the eating of animals, to the contrary, such should be eaten in thanksgiving, but of note is that such food should be taken "only in times of winter, or of cold, or famine." Now, this is from the revealed Word of Wisdom, a revelation given to the Prophet Joseph Smith. What happens in times of winter? Animals that would die should not be wasted, but eaten. In famine, do animals die? Absolutely, there is a dearth of food for them to eat, and does the Lord will that the carcasses rot? No, they are ordained to be eaten.
"Yea, flesh also of beasts and of the fowls of the air, I, the Lord, have ordained for the use of man with thanksgiving; nevertheless they are to be used sparingly;
"And it is pleasing unto me that they should not be used, only in times of winter, or of cold, or famine." (D&C 89:12-13.)
So clearly it would seem animals are to have a somewhat normal existence, to have "joy" in their creation, or sphere of creation, and indeed they are ordained for the use of man, but something is awry in how we live today, where in most cities ordinances prohibit having a chicken in your yard, which would be wonderful in eating bugs and insects, and hopefully would be a laying hen producing healthy eggs for the household. Big Agra gives us "chicken" and "eggs" from animals born and raised in a small cage that never once have roamed free and had any "joy" in their measure of creation. Research on what takes place with some of these animals is sickening, and turns ones stomach into not wanting to touch another animal in terms of food again unless you know it was organically fed and hormone free, and hopefully lived an existence where it’s soul (yes, animals have souls, as revealed in scripture here,) could experience some sunshine and freedom of movement that would be features of traditional barnyard living for animals (a chicken coup that has room to move about, but which is also a place of safety and protection.)
A study of LDS Church presidents on this subject matter reveals some sobering statements that would surprise most. Here is one page with a few.
Joseph Fielding Smith is said to have stated:
"This is my answer to you in relation to President Brigham Young’s statement that mothers should not feed their small children meat. Yes! Small children do not need the flesh of animals. May I add also that adults would be better if they would refrain from too much eating of meat. As far as I am concerned the eating of meat should be very sparingly. In fact I will be contented if the Millennium was to be ushered in next week. When it is, we will learn that the eating of meat is not good for us. Why do we feel that we do not have a square meal unless it is based largely on meat. Let the dumb animals live. They enjoy life as well as we do.
In the beginning the Lord granted man the use of the flesh of certain animals. See Genesis 9:1-6, but with so many fruits of the soil and from the trees of the earth, why cannot man be content? Naturally in times of famine the flesh of animals was perhaps a necessity, but in my judgment when the Millennium reaches us, we will live above the need of killing dumb innocent animals and eating them. It is of great interest that one local man here where I live nearing 100 years old, fit as a fiddle and extremely agile and able, holds "no milk" as one of his main points of good health. I’ve not met the man, but I should seek to do so soon and get the accounting of his philosophy first hand. Brigham Young stated:
"The fathers and mothers have laid the foundation for many of these diseases, from generation to generation, until the people are reduced to their present condition. True, some live to from fifty to ninety years of age, but it is an unusual circumstance to see a man a hundred years old, or a woman ninety. The people have laid the foundation of a short life through their diet, their rest, their labor, and their doing this, that, and the other in a wrong manner, with improper motives, and at improper times.
"I would be glad to tell mothers how to lay the foundation of health in their children, that they may be delivered from the diseases with which I am afflicted, and have been from my youth up…some say that "this is a miserable world, I do not care how soon I get through." Well, go and destroy yourselves, if you choose; you have all the opportunity that you can desire; there is plenty of arsenic, calomel, and other means, within your reach… Latter-day Saints who live merely to get ready to die are not worth much; rather get ready to live, and be prepared to live to the glory of your Father in Heaven and to do the work He has given you to do." Raw milk and organic milk is a target of the state, and farmers seeking to sell such and those increasing numbers highly desirous to make such purchases have the Federal and State governments as a major foe that seeks to keep them from making transactions and having access to the marketplace. Reagan was right, Government is not the solution, government is the problem. And with all the above, just remember, the United Nations is salivating at bringing all food and vitamins under their scrutiny, control and regulation. Imagine having to obtain a prescription for Vitamins? Such is the proposal undertaken now and which may indeed find itself into law soon with the damned Republicrat traitors in Washington with their One party rule.
One other quick note, Gordon B. Hinckley stated:
"I thank the Lord for a testimony of the Word of Wisdom. I wish we lived it more fully, but even though we do not, the Lord pours out his blessing on those who try."
Continuing he stated:
"The promise is before us that if we will do so, we shall receive health in the navel and marrow in the bones and shall find wisdom and great treasures of knowledge, even hidden treasures, and shall run and not be weary, and shall walk and not faint; and the destroying angel shall pass by us as the children of Israel and not slay us (see D&C 89:18–21). To me it is marvelous that beyond the promises of a physical nature is the promise of hidden treasures of knowledge concerning things divine and eternal. (Gordon B. I then asked myself, what is it that most don’t live? Clearly poor choices in food intake and too much meat was all too clear. The epitome of bad food (great tasting in some cases, but never healthful) is ironically at ward functions. In my last ward of single adults, most of whom were well educated and informed on the subject, they too laughed at this fact and numerous of them abstained from eating the "sugar junk" food on "Break the Fast" days. I was also amazed at how many too held disdain for mercury contaminated vaccines, refined flours, sugars, and fats. With their influence at times, being not just a fringe of 2 or 3 in number, they influenced a better option in food by what they brought for others to consume. May their numbers increase, and so too will "wisdom" as such are blessed with "hidden treasures of knowledge" a blessing pronounced upon those who obey this law of the Word of Wisdom.
My grandfather refused to eat pork because of this statement of Brigham Young:
"If the people were willing to receive the true knowledge from Heaven, they would cease to eating swine’s flesh. I know it as well as Moses knew it and I don’t need a code of commandments to put it in."
